How do I become a Visual Merchandiser without retail experience?

    There are always many people who wants to be a visual merchandiser without retail experience. I would like to suggest some ways to help you do some visual merchandising in retails faster.


    1. Go to a professional institution to do some retail display training. Such institutional training has 3 advantages:
    a. It helps you know more people in the industry to facilitate the exchange of experience;
    b. You can learn relative professional knowledge;
    c. You can get them to help you recommend relative jobs. As such organization typically cooperate with many companies, there will be many job opportunities. You can have a try if there are some that can meet your requirements.
    2. Go directly to a more formal clothing company interview shopping guide.
    In general, such a regular company store will have an assistant position, thus you can sale goods and learn how to display retails at the same time in order to get more professional experience.
    3. It is also relatively easy to start as a sale, interior decoration or interior design.
    For the reason that the store's hard-mounted is the interior design, soft installation is retail display,the two parts are closely related so it is relatively easy to learn from each other. Sales is the follow-up step of the retail display, and it is inextricably linked with the display. Don't forget that the retail display is for sales service, so sales are also very convenient.
